Celebrating the future of grid-connected solar

The SEANZ Aotearoa Industry Awards are all about recognising the people and projects leading the way in Aotearoa’s sustainable energy future. These awards celebrate success, showcase innovation and acknowledge the organisations shaping a cleaner, smarter energy system for generations to come.

As solar, storage and smart energy step into the spotlight, it’s more important than ever to highlight the projects that set new benchmarks for excellence. At Revolve, we’re proud to sponsor the Best Grid-Connected PV System Award, recognising systems that not only generate renewable power but also integrate seamlessly with the grid to deliver lasting value.

Best Grid-Connected PV System

A grid-connected renewable system is more than just solar panels. To be considered, entries must include onsite renewable generation, be tied to the national grid, and may incorporate energy storage and load control. These systems represent the best of what our industry offers — reliable, scalable and sustainable energy for Aotearoa.

Winner: Sunergise, for Victoria University of Wellington’s Living Pā, Ngā Mokopuna

This landmark project is a showcase of collaboration and vision. Sunergise partnered with Revolve Energy, EPC Energy and Victoria University of Wellington to bring the Living Pā Ngā Mokopuna Solar and Battery Energy Storage Project to life.

As the lead construction contractor, Sunergise transformed the design into a fully operational system that:

  • Meets the rigorous Living Building Challenge standards

  • Delivers industry-first solutions for solar mounting and corrosion prevention

  • Merges architectural vision with functional resilience in a public setting

  • Proves performance and ethics can coexist without compromise.
