/ How We Help

We guide solar and battery projects from first idea to full operation

We work with businesses across the full journey, or step in where independent expertise is needed most - without requiring an all-or-nothing commitment.

/ Our approach

One partner through every phase

Solar and battery projects bring together a range of disciplines - from financial modelling, structural and electrical engineering through to long-term asset management. How well these pieces connect has a real impact on the outcome of the project.

When different firms handle different stages, important knowledge can be lost along the way. Working with one partner across the full journey means the team operating your system is the same team that assessed your site and designed the system. This approach helps ensure decisions are clearly understood, with fewer surprises and better outcomes.

/ Phase 01

Strategy & feasibility

Should we do this?

We start by understanding what you want to achieve, then recommend the right approach and strategy for your site and situation. Your site is assessed and the energy system modelled so you have a clear technical and financial view of whether the project stacks up. Not every project makes sense, and we will tell you if yours doesn't.

/ Phase 02

Design

What exactly should we build?

The concept is developed into a ready-to-build design. This includes structural assessment, equipment selection, and detailed electrical and monitoring design. We use industry tools such as Revit (BIM), PVsyst, and Gridcog to coordinate and optimise the system. We focus on long-term performance and reliability, with safe operation and maintenance considered from the outset, and vendor-neutral selections made on merit.

/ phase 03

Delivery

How do we ensure it's built right?

We coordinate procurement and oversee construction independently of the installer. The focus is on future-proofing the system - making decisions that will stand up over time, not just at handover. We act in the interests of the client or investor, and collaborate with contractors to manage quality. Technical oversight is provided from tender through to commissioning.

/ phase 04

Operations

How do we maximise ROI long term?

We monitor performance, detect faults early, optimise battery dispatch, and provide reports so you can see how your system is actually performing. To realise the expected return on investment, a system must continue to run optimally throughout its 25+ year life. Our monitoring and thermographic imaging tools help identify find issues early, before they affect safety or performance.

Your project, your terms

We provide clear, practical input where it will make the biggest difference - whether that’s across the full journey or at a specific stage.

Full partnership

Engage us across all four phases: strategy, design, delivery, and operations. With one partner and no handoffs, this approach is the simplest way to get a solar or battery project right from the start.

Single project phase

Bring us in for the specific phase where you need independent expertise. We can help with the system design, delivery, or operations and reporting.

Optimisation only

Already have a system? We assess, optimise, and manage existing solar and battery installations for peak performance. You’ll have a clear, independent view of how your existing system is performing.

Understand your opportunity before you commit.

A solar or battery project is a 25-year investment. Our scoping engagement gives you the clarity to move forward - or the confidence to hold off if it’s not the right time. Starting from $5K, you’ll come away with a clear view of what’s possible, what it costs, and whether it makes financial sense.

/ Capabilities

Technical depth across solar, battery and related technologies

Strong in-house and partner capabilities can be deployed independently or combined to cover the full technical range of solar and battery projects.

Solar PV

Independent engineering design for community, commercial and utility-scale solar systems. We focus on selecting the right system for your site and objectives - with no equipment sales or vendor incentives influencing the outcome. Our recommendations are based on performance, reliability, and long-term value.

Battery storage (BESS)

Peak demand reduction, grid services, and energy arbitrage are modelled independently against your actual tariff structure. Battery economics are complex and often overstated. We'll show you where the real value sits before you commit capital.

EV charging

Charging infrastructure that is designed alongside your solar and battery investment, not as an afterthought. Built around how you plan to use it - with room to grow and fully integrated into your energy management strategy.

Energy controls & metering

Real-time monitoring and control systems that manage how your site generates, stores, and consumes energy. Independent data that works across manufacturer platforms, providing in depth analysis at a site level, or a portfolio view.

Demand management

Strategic load management to reduce peak demand charges, which are often the largest single component of a commercial power bill. Most businesses don't know these charges exist as a separate line item, let alone that they can be managed. We model the value against your actual tariff structure before you commit any capital.

Microgrids

Integrated energy systems with islanding capability for sites that need resilience and independence from the grid. These structures can allow communities to leverage central generation, and storage assets to reduce long term energy costs.

Performance monitoring

Continuous tracking of generation, consumption, revenue and system health against your original design predictions. Early fault detection is the difference between a minor adjustment and an expensive repair.

Aerial thermographic imaging

Drone-based thermal imaging enables early fault detection across solar arrays, identifying hotspots, cracked cells, and connection issues missed by visual inspections before they impact performance.
